- Assisted leading insurance broking company Marsh Vietnam in obtaining merger clearance for its acquisition of and merger with JLT Vietnam. The transaction is part of a restructuring scheme following Marsh & McLennan’s USD 5.6 billion acquisition of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc.
- Assisted global diagnostics imaging leader Siemens Healthineers in obtaining Vietnam merger clearance for its USD 16.4 billion acquisition of Varian Medical Systems.
- Assisted China Baowu Steel Group Corporation, one of China’s largest SOEs, in obtaining Vietnam merger clearance for its acquisition of Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd.
- Assisted TCL China Star Optoelectronics Technology in expediting the Vietnamese merger review process of its acquisition of Samsung Display’s LCD panel manufacturing sites in Suzhou, China.
- Assisted a leading Japan-based pharmaceutical MNC with their compliance investigation into a subsidiary in Vietnam;
- Assisted a leading US-based manufacturer of software and hardware used in automated manufacturing with an internal investigation into a whistleblower report concerning the Vietnam office;
- Advised a leading Swiss pharmaceutical MNC on the importation and storage of their products in Vietnam;
- Advised multiple foreign invested companies and parties to cross-border M&A transactions on merger filing requirements.
